The Club
MWC organises instruction and coaching for rowers at all levels; from absolute beginners up to national competition level. Junior rowers enjoy dedicated instruction for both recreational and competitive rowing. There is also a very active group of tour-rowers and several events are organised every year on the rivers of the Netherlands and other European countries.
MWC have their own marina with yacht berths for members and visitors.
The clubhouse lies on a unique location with glorious views towards the centre of Maastricht and the lakes and nature reserves upstream towards Eijsden. The strength of the club lies in the large number of volunteers who provide instruction and coaching, maintain boats and other material, organise the many regattas, tours and other events which take place throughout the year and write and publish our lively quarterly club magazine.
MWC is affiliated with the Royal Dutch Rowing Association (Koninklijke Nederlandse Roeibond), the South Netherlands Rowing Association (Zuidelijke Roeibond), the Royal Dutch Watersport Union (Koninklijk Watersport Vereniging) and the Flemish Watersport Union (Vlaams Verbond voor de Watersport).
